He then star to talk to the one of the teens and his girlfriend, he wants to bet the american teen. They then star to arrange the bet they bet a green car  or a pinky finger. The american say that his lighter will light 10 times in a row and if it does Carlos will give him a green car but if he fails Carlos will chop his finger. They got on the way to Carlos room, wile Ask and hotel employ for a chair a chopping knife, and a rope. While this the narrator is going also to the room because he is the referee. The americans girfriend trys to stop the american for star the bet but he is convince he will win. Carlos stars to tied the american to the chair the it star. The amercan got to 8 times lighted but a women appers in the room and stop the bet, then we discover she is Carlos. She told us that he has lost all in bets and the car is not even of him.

 

I love Roahl Dalh because he has the ability to transmite very awesomly imagery and characterization.For example:

It was a fine garden with lawns and beds of azaleas and tall coconut palms, and the wind was blowing strongly through the tops of the palm trees making the leaves hiss and crackle as though they were on fire. I could see the clusters of big brown nuts handing down underneath the leaves.

I Also like the way he adds supspence to hook you to the storie                            For example: 

"The little man carefully removed the red band from his still unlighted cigar. "I never ask you, my friend, to bet something you cannot afford. You understand?" "Then what do I bet?""I make it very easy for you, yes?""Okay. You make it easy.""Some small ting you can afford to give away, and if you did happen to lose it you would not feel too bad. Right?" "Such as what?""Such as, perhaps, de little finger of your left hand."

Is Close until holidays, and Jonas when to play a war game with hes friends, then Fiona invite Asher and Jonas to ride bycycle but Jonas dont want to because he was felling bad for the war memorie and he can tell them anything.

Then he knews that the past reciver was Rosemary, and the he see a terrible memorie in wich hes father is killing one of the twins. The he figure out that his father was killing all the ones that need to be release with an lethal injection in the head

Jonas was in total shock, but the Giver then reveals that Rosemary is his daughter, then they plan a escape

Chapters 13 To 16  

Jonas Continues to See colors but he has star  seen more to see them more often. He is seeing many colors. Jonas is also trying to make others see his memmories but he fails. Then the Giver Show him the 

REAL PAIN

Since that momment the Giver star giving Jonas memories of Plesure and of Pain. One day Jonas find the giver with terrible pain so the Giver Pass Jonas the memorie of warfare and Death. One night Jonas had to sleep with baby Gabe. Accidently Jonas touch baby Gabe and pass to him the memorie of warfare. 

 

Then the Giver apologize for the bad memories. And since then the Giver just pass jonas good memories.

I Think this Chapters were the best till now because the introduce us to the rising action. I also predict  that the Giver Will die and Jonas would become the Giver and Sincee Gabe also can see colors he is going to e the next reciever of memories

Previously in the Jonas was pick to be the reciever of memories. that is a very honorable job in the society. But he is pretty scared about it. At first he star his training happly and with entusiasm but he is given several rules wich some are you are allow to lie an you cant tell anyone about the trainment also he meets the giver and he tells him many memories and the snow memorie. And jonas like the snow memorie. Then the giver also pass to him the memories of the sunshine and sunburn. Then Jonas star seeing stuff, so the giver then says he is seeing colors so is time to him to have the rainbow memorie. 

I think this chapters where pretty interesting because they introduce us to the giver and to the memories that jonas is reciving. Also it show us part of the training of Jonas. I will recomend this book to kids who like distopia books as divergent and the hunger games.

At first of chapter 5 we see something interesting there in the morning ritual sharering there dreams and Jonas Participate that intreasting because he rarely participate. He shared his dream whit fiona and were they bath they old. Then in the ceremony of 12 were they assaing each kid a job. Jonas was number 19 but the elders skipped him, this make him feel fear and anxity. At the end of the ceremony the elders apologies to him and told him he was going to be the next reciver of memories. Wich it was a very important job in community. 

In This Book I find a very intresting quote in page 63. "The Fourth Essential Attribute Is Wisdom"

This was a very interesting quote because it like shows that a leader must be wise to take good desicions. The elders might choosed him because he they trust that him is going to Make good desicions. 

I Think this Book is very interesting and fun to read i recomend this book for mature people because it got delicate themes such as puberty. Also for readers who want to read about distopia becausee this book is similar to other distopia boos such as the hunger games, divergent and others.

Jonas is member of a adoptive family with 4 member His Mom And Dad and his sister Lily. The first event in this book is that a plane driver get released. Then His peers act like robots When his best friend Asher got into class late. Then His Family whit his crazy Rituals. Then Hes Going to work in a strange place were he works with Larissa and Fiona.

I Think This quote is pretty strange but not in a bad way is that is wierd that bwhen you apologie with your peers they all say the same very sincronized and thats wierd. In this part of the book Jonas Best friend Asher Gets into class late and he apologieses. His peers then say this phrase and it sound

This Make me think that theres something wrong  whit this people.

Until Now the Giver Is Intresting this book seems very Comprometedor. This is a master piece book because i think the author make this a intresting and hooking book that keeps you want to know whats happening next. I Think the book should have more shocking scenes. And  The author should think more about secondary characters details.

I Think This story will be about Jonas Being introduce to a world of pain and Full Of plesure. Maybe hes going to a bad world like getting out of the fantasy world he might live in.
